Fans Voted for their Favorite Jersey from Four Designs over a 15-Day Period.

The votes are in and we are thrilled to announce the winning design for the team’s next jersey for upcoming Season XI. From July 6th through July 20th, fans voted for their favorite from four jersey designs. The fan vote was part of the landmark partnership between The General and NRG Esports Rocket League team announced in April. The vote for The General NRG’s new team jersey for Season XI drew vast amounts of excitement from the fans.

“We were thrilled to see the voting turnout from The General NRG’s fans,” said Kale Sligh, Vice President of Marketing for The General. “From the onset of this partnership, it has always been our goal to authentically connect with the fans and we thought this was a perfect way to get those dedicated fans in on the fun.”

What Does The Winning Jersey Design Look Like?

The winning jersey design also includes a notable patch on the front right bottom displaying a trophy representing the World Championship win in 2019 surrounded by multiple stars – one star for every major Rocket League event won. The General NRG team recently concluded a successful Season X and added the sixth and seventh stars to the patch after winning the Rocket League Championship Series X Spring North American Major this past May and the Rocket League Championship Series North American for Season X in June.

“The General NRG is very excited to debut their new jerseys for Season XI,” said Brett Lautenbach, President of NRG Esports. “First and foremost, it’s awesome that they were selected by the fans, but the jersey patch is also a true representation of The General NRG Rocket League team’s storied history over the past five years. Not many other teams have the historic legacy that our team does, and this patch truly showcases the team’s hard work and dedication to Rocket League.”

How Many People Voted for The General NRG Jersey Design?

The vote for The General NRG’s new team jersey for Season XI drew vast amounts of excitement from the fans. XX total votes were cast over the 15-day voting period. The winning jersey received a total of XX votes, with the runner-up coming in with XX votes. The jersey taking third-place came in with XX votes, with the fourth and final jersey coming in with XX votes.
