Get ready, gamers! The General Insurance is dropping a brand-new Fortnite experience called “The General Road Test Royale™,” launching on July 7, 2025. This isn’t just another game—it’s a chance to test your driving skills in a fun, virtual world, perfect for players looking to level up both on the road and in-game.

The General Road Test Royale is a custom map inspired by iconic real-world driving locations. Gamers can watch content featuring The General on Twitch and use Island Code #9524-2023-3031 to access The Glitch on Fortnite. Whether you’re a Fortnite regular or new to the platform, this interactive experience invites players to compete, connect, and escape the everyday, all while reinforcing smart driving habits. 

The Experience 

The General Road Test Royale challenges players to navigate through road test-inspired obstacle courses across three custom city maps: 

  • Miami 
  • New York City 
  • San Francisco 

Players will earn in-map currency by completing courses quickly and carefully, staying on track, avoiding obstacles, and maintaining control under pressure. The experience includes fun, branded details like a mustache-shaped monument and helmet-shaped map markers, and can be played solo or with friends. 

This isn’t just about speed, it’s about skill and smarts. In partnership with Twitch, Look North World, and with guidance from National Driving Training (NDT), The General Road Test Royale was developed with real-world driving principles in mind to encourage safe, strategic gameplay in an engaging, fast-paced format.

Streamer Tournament + Giveaways 

The excitement doesn’t stop there!  To celebrate the launch, The General is hosting a streamer tournament featuring sixteen top Fortnite creators, whose gameplay will be broadcast on their individual Twitch channels. Among the featured creators is none other than the legendary T-Pain—Grammy-winning artist, beloved gamer, and Twitch personality—who will be livestreaming his gameplay in July and competing in the official tournament this August. 

“Being a part of The General’s new commercial was pretty cool, and getting to take that energy into Fortnite is even better,” said T-Pain. “I can’t wait to stream my experience of The General Road Test Royale and show the community what the brand built. It’s creative, it’s chaotic, and it’s truly one of a kind.”
